As the U.S. Treasury has begun depositing Economic Impact Payments to bank accounts, it's important for you to have the right tools and resources to check the status of your payment.

Checking Payment Status

The IRS has created a portal for Americans to use to determine when and where stimulus checks will be deposited. Track your payment here.

If the portal says "Payment Status Not Available" or any other error message, please refer to the IRS Economic Impact Payment information center.

Filed a Tax Refund for 2018/2019?

If you are eligible and have filed your 2018/2019 tax return, your stimulus payment will be direct deposited into the same account you provided the IRS on your latest return.

If you did not provide the IRS with direct deposit information on your 2018/2019 tax return, you will receive a paper check by mail. Extraco recommends utilizing your Extraco eBank app mobile deposit feature to quickly and easily deposit funds into your account.

Didn't File a Tax Refund for 2018/2019?

If you did not file a tax return and would like to request your stimulus check be direct deposited into your bank account, please visit the IRS website to set up your payment information.

Receiving SSI, SSDI, Survivor, or Railroad Retirement Benefits?

Payments will be direct deposited for people who receive Social Security retirement (SSI), disability (SSDI), survivor benefits or Railroad Retirement benefits and do not normally file a tax return.
